It was amazing to see so many Cherokees together in Salem this month for the Cherokee Nation's annual picnic and Chief's visit. We had 571 attendees and signed up 18 new members of Mt. Hood Cherokees!

Our next gathering will be Saturday, September 9 from 10:30am-12pm at Great Spirit, 3917 NE Shaver St, Portland, OR. It'll be a great time to share info about genealogy and family history. Please bring family photos, resources, and questions. More info in the flyer. We'll share a potluck meal, so please bring food to share.
